Bed in Sercotel Togumar
Three of us (adults) staying in the one room and the size of the room was excellent!! plenty of space. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, the bedding and the flooring. The floor is tiled all the way through and I much prefer this to carpeting in hotels. the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The main room had three beds , small table with three chairs, tv, along one wall was kitchen area, asink, 2 ring cooker, cupboards and fridge, usual wardrobes and a safe. The bathroom is what I would consider "tired" and dated decorwise, some tiles were chipped or cracked, but not to a dangerous level, its clean, so I was happy. The bathroom had shower gel, shampoo and hand soap dispensers, hair dryer and electric socket, the towels were clean, the room was cleaned everyday and towels were replaced if needed. We didnt have breakfast or use the small kitchen in the room so cannot comment. The view from our room number 506 overlooked the small road outside, the hotels main door opens onto this road. its a quiet road and theres a large window facing out onto the road, the window opens fully which was nice. check in at reception was easy and the guy was very friendly and there were no delays or problems, same with check out, it was seamless. met one of the cleaning staff at the lift a couple times during our stay and they were super friendly too. The wifi didnt always connect to my phone, but thats ok as i have good roaming service with my moble provider, might be an issue for non eu travellers though- so hotel may want to upgrade it. the walk to the metro (prosperidad) and the local shopping area near the hotel is less than 4 minutes walk. lots of supermarkets locally, theres a lidl up near prosperidad metro. the metro is not direct into the centre of madrid, you have to make one changeover, but its not a long journey. the reason for our visit was to spend time with family who live local, so distance to the centre wasnt a concern.

The Hotel is very well located at less than 500 meters from Av.da P. de Vergara which crosses the Central part of Madrid and despite its central position it's extremely silent and still. The room was featured by a small kitchen corner that we practically did not exploit except than for the fridge, quite large and useful. On Av.da de Vergara, very close to the corner of Canilla Str. there's a Carrefour Supermarket open 24/7 where any kind of food or drinks could be found at any time. The Room was very large with a big TV (it should be 50" or similar), a table with two chairs and a safe inside (to use it I had to leave a € 10 deposit at the Reception that was eventually returned after I gave back the key. The Wi-Fi works very well also to view clips or movies in streaming.

The room & bathroom were very clean. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable Our room in the 5th floor facing the internal patio was quite quiet (except when people entered their rooms) The heater was working perfectly for such a cold winter days The TV was quieter big and easy to rotate in the different angles of the room Very well connected with public transport (metro stop Prosperidad 3min walking distance, many bus lines, taxi stop..) Many supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants in the area.

Hotel 5 minutes walk to metro Prosperidad station.A lot of bakeries, cafes, even a market and a shop nearby! Receptionists Alechandro and Miquel were very helpful, cleaning staff- kind, very hard working! Appartamento- large, spacious wardrobe, huge comfy bed, stylish table and chairs to have a cup of cofffee in the morning or snack in the evening, small kitchenete with the fridge. Everything, what you need for a short 4 nights stay, like us, but really good for staying longer! Muchas gracias!

A budget option but perfectly fine for a few nights’ stay. Very efficient and kind receptionist, Sandra. We liked our apartment. Ok, it’s 3* and has dated decor but it HAS been looked after. It was safe, clean, good value for money. We made use of the kitchenette and liked the €12,50 p.p. breakfast. The area is not upmarket but connections to the centre - we went by metro and bus - were cheap, fast (metro) and convenient.
